Prints

Images are printed on heavyweight museum-grade archival Hahnemühle Cotton rag photo paper with archival pigment inks.

Framing

Frames are works of art entirely handcrafted from either walnut or maple solid wood. There are four finish options: Bright White Maple,Natural Maple, Red Mahogany Walnut, or Solid Black Maple. Other framing finishes are available upon request. Please e-mail hello@alyfickprints.com for more information.

The artwork is framed with museum grade 99% UV-filtering acrylic. Framing is done in a shadowbox style where the print is set to the back of the frame and off-set with a spacer between the print and the acrylic.

If you will be hanging your art in a space with a lot of light and reflection, we recommend upgrading to Tru Vue Optium Museum Acrylic®. The acrylic is scratch-resistant, anti-reflective and static-free.

Extra Large sized prints are printed edge to edge and are framed without a mat board. All other frames are completed with a 3” mat.

Care instructions

To ensure the longevity of your photographic print, we recommend hanging your artwork out of direct sunlight.

For loose prints, we recommend framing with your local professional framer to ensure processing with an archival quality mat board and UV blocking acrylic.

Hanging instructions

All frames are finished with a french cleat hanger. French cleats are sturdy, simple, and clean. Each frame arrives with a pre-assembled wooden strainer, an unattached 45-degree matching wood cleat, and a screw for installation. We recommend that you refrain from using picture wire as this can damage the structure of the frame.

Finished dimensions

The dimensions below refer to the exterior dimensions of the framed artwork. Please note: Small, Medium and Large sized prints are framed with a traditional mat board. The Extra Large sized print is printed edge to edge and framed without a mat board.

Shipping

Typical production time is 4 to 6 weeks for a framed print and 2 to 8 business days for a loose print. Please expect additional time for shipping and delivery post production.

Please note: During peak periods framing turnaround times may be extended. Please contact us for more information.

You will receive an order and shipping confirmations via e-mail.

Returns

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges. All orders are custom-made to order and sales are final.

Once an order has been placed, we can not make any adjustments or accept any cancellations. This includes changing the shipping address.

If your print has been damaged in transit please notify us at hello@alyfickphotography.com within 7 days of receiving the shipment.

Please make sure to open your package within this time. Please keep all original packaging and the print as we may require photos, the original print, or both to process your claim.
